Idag hedrar jag Nora Ephron- en förebild och en fantastisk kvinna inom nöjesbranschen. Hon både skrev manus och pjäser, regisserade och producerade. Nora var en av Hollywoods”darlings” när det kommer till regissörer. Redan med When Harry Met Sally  (som hon skrev) så vann hon publikernas hjärtan. För min del var det Sleepless in Seattle och You´ve Got Mail som blev två av mina favoriter.

Nora dog av leukemi och tydligen höll hon det hemligt in i det sista. Hela branschen minns henne idag.

Och detta var vad Meryl Streep hade att säga om sin väns bortgång:

”Nora just looked at every situation and cocked her head and thought, ‘Hmmmm, how can I make this more fun?’ ” Meryl Streep wrote in an email to the New York Times. ”You could call on her for anything: doctors, restaurants, recipes, speeches, or just a few jokes, and we all did it, constantly. She was an expert in all the departments of living well.”
