Kram L

    Hello Laila! 🙂

My name is Sharon and I am 23 years old (soon to be 24 in a few days, I was also born in December, haha:) ) and I’m from North Carolina, USA. I do not know Swedish, so luckily Google translates everything on your blog to English for me so I can understand everything that you write 🙂

One day I was listening to some music on my iPod and a song from the girl group Play came on. I remember when I was younger I listened to a lot of Play’s music and I always wondered what happened to the group. I used Google to see if I could find out what ever happened to Play and I came across the Made in Sweden videos on YouTube. Of course since I don’t understand Swedish, I watched the videos with the English subtitles on them. I really enjoyed watching them and it was very cool to see some of the behind the scenes of making an album, and putting a band together and seeing different things in the music industry. As I was watching the videos I decided to find out more about you, Anders, and Andreas and I found out that you all have worked with artists and songs that I really enjoy and that all of you seemed to be really awesome people 🙂

My favorite singer of all time since I was like 5 years old is Celine Dion. As I was doing my Google search I found out that the three of you worked with Celine and wrote songs with her. I thought that was very interesting and very awesome. I also came across your blog and decided to check it out and I enjoy reading it and find it to be very interesting 🙂

I have always been fascinated by the music industry and knew from a young age that I wanted to have some type of career in music but wasn’t sure what I wanted to do. I started playing the trumpet when I was 11 and was in the band program all the way throughout school and was even in marching band in high school and college. I even got to march in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City last year with my college marching band. That was amazing! That was also my first trip to New York City, so that was something that I’ll remember for the rest of my life.

Music has always been a big part of my life and I realized in high school that I had a passion for creating music. I wanted to make my own music but I did not really know how. Most of the music training that I had when I was a teenager was self-taught. The teachers that I had in school mostly would just put a piece of music in front of us and tell us to play it. I could read music but I felt like I never really understood music theory and all of the “technical” things about music. Even when I was in college I would struggle with this sometimes. Most of the music that I would create would be by ear. I would feel something and just play it and create a song.

I recently graduated from college in May and received a Bachelor of Music Degree in Commercial and Electronic Music. I love to create original music and hope to one day be a successful music producer. Most of the music that I make is electronic music but every now and then I try to compose some songs in different genres and add them to my SoundCloud page. Right now I’m currently trying to find a career in music, so hopefully something will come along at the right time. I believe that everything happens for a reason so I guess that the right job just has not appeared yet. I just continue to make music everyday because that’s what I love doing even if it is just 4 measures of a song a day.

Anyways, sorry for such a long comment!!! It looks like I wrote a blog myself haha! 🙂 I just wanted to leave a comment here to tell you that I’m happy that I found your blog and I enjoy reading it! 🙂
